The first day of the MTC was pretty crazy haha! We were funneled through with our host missionaries to get books and tags and key cards and all sorts of stuff, and then we were put into our classes for an hour of intense Spanish(there was and is no English allowed in the class so It was pretty overwhelming for our first day). But then we had a cool fireside, I got to meet my companion Elder Pixton, who´s from North Carolina, and then we had a delicious dinner of Chicken Cordon Blu. We then had a 2 and a half hour workshop on getting to know the people we teach before we got together as zones to get to know each other(These are our branches her for Sunday meetings). Overall, it was a crazy, overwhelming but fun day, and it´s cool to actually be in the MTC.
PS Our p days are on Wednesdays so thats when I'll be able to send letters again during the MTC.
So hard to say goodbye but we are excited for him and the next two years!
He wasn't alone on his flight! One Elder was going home, 2 were going to Florida, one to the Philipines, and Taylor to Spain!
The hosts taking in Taylor and Chad - see you in two years!
